About Vanessa

I was born on December 8, 1979, in the Parisian surbub . In 2002, after studies and a diploma for the occupation of decorator-windowdresser, I was eager to begin the studies in jewellery. It was during a family lunch that I spoke with family company about the creation of glass beadmaking which a friend managed. After some appointment and some conclusive test on my manual capacities, I was employed in the company ” Guegan Perles” making all kinds of beads, cabochons, etc according to the Venitian techniques, which means working primarily on copper mandrels. We worked primarily for the Haute couture (Chanel in particular) but also for smaller artisans, and for some designers like Jean-Michel Othoniel, who continues sometimes to appeal my competent as for the ” River of breasts” , pieces exposed to the Modern Art Museum in Paris, France. I also made out some prototypes for Lalique . I very quickly become completely addicted of this trade, to this Art above all but Guegan Perles closed its doors in April 2005, not being able to face Chinese competition… In 2006,I became member of the” French Glass beadmakers Association”, and I also took a jewellery class at “Ecole du Louvre”. In 2007 . On April 12, 2008, I met Beau Anderson in Paris France. We then decided to live, work together and also to teach this old Art of more than 5000 years. Beau teaches me a lot. We travel and organize classes in Europe and in the United States. I teach mostly beginner classes and Beau teaches advanced classes so we are able to have very different skill level students in the same class and give to students an individual attention.
